This beautiful but dilapidated Victorian terraced house in Hackney was in need of some serious refurbishment. The building hadn’t been maintained for many years, so we started by rewiring and replumbing the entire house.
We made some structural changes to the downstairs, building a new all-glass extension to the side, creating a huge kitchen / dining area that would become a natural focus for the family. Large bi-fold doors open out into the garden to create even more light and space.
We refitted bathrooms and bedrooms to a very high standard, and created a “hidden” downstairs toilet and washroom behind wallpapered walls. Flooring was repaired or replaced throughout the property.
